We made the most of the one snowy morning so far this January. The calm and settled snow after the ice and flurries of the night before. Our daily walks through the wood and by the lake took on a freshness and beauty, the crunching of snow underfoot and the playing of light through sun and cloud on the water. All very welcome at the start of the year.
