I had a couple of hours in the centre of Manchester recently. A bright late September morning and chance for some street photography.
I managed a few ‘through the glass’ pictures of people – the reflections add a kind of veil to the photos, and a bit more depth to the scene.
I caught people relaxing at work, obviously enjoying the warm sunlight, or grabbing a second breakfast.
The light and shadow played well on the city centre streets. You become more aware of shapes, areas of contrast or complementing colours.
The pleasure of watching people is seeing them in their unguarded moments, either interacting with others or in a world of their own.
There is a great buzz in big city centres, they feel alive with people and energy…. an enjoyable morning.
Looking great William..glad you’re able to snatch some time to explore and share with us
Ta very much Paul 🙂 Cities and people are very interesting aren’t they?
