We took our annual week’s holiday to Jersey a fortnight ago. Blessed again with good weather and great friendship time with family and vacation friends. It’s amazing how quickly one can unwind in a familiar holiday place.
I even got up before 7am one morning to plod down to the beach with my camera. The sun was just rising above the headland on one of those crisp August mornings when everything seems fresh. The interplay between gorgeous light and long shadows looked great on the beach. I took pictures on other days but here are four of my favourites from that early sunshine….
